When you think of Karl Lagerfeld, art supplies don’t necessarily come to mind. But that’s exactly the designer’s next big project. Yes, like a back-to-school pencil case. Lagerfeld collaborated with art supplies manufacturer Faber-Castell on a limited-edition collection called KarlBox that costs more than $3,000 (2,500 GBP). And while you may scoff at the price/concept of the case, it’s a dream come true for any art and fashion lover.
For example, the case is seriously limited-edition: Only 2,500 of the boxes were made, which were designed to look like a Chinese wedding cabinet, according to CNN. Inside, the case contains 120 Albrecht Durer artists’ watercolor pencils, five Graphite Aquarelle pencils, 120 polychromos artists’ pencils and pastels, 60 Pitt Artist pens, 12 Castell 9000 graphite pencils, four Pitt Artist Pens Fineliners, four Pitt Graphite Crayons, one dual sharpening box Castell 9000, one dual metal sharpener, one kneadable art eraser, one dust-free art eraser, one high-density watercolor brush, one sharpening knife, one sandpaper block, and a Clic & Go water cup. Phew.
Or you could buy 197 M.A.C. lipsticks.
Part of the reason Lagerfeld launched this art supply case is that Faber-Castell’s drawing tools remind him of his childhood. “Since I was a little child in Germany, Faber-Castell has been the most famous brand known for its especially good quality. That reputation remains just as true today, particularly for artist pencils,” Lagerfeld told CNN.

According to Lagerfeld’s Instagram post above, KarlBox has already sold out once, but it’s been restocked and is now available on Karl.com. Sure, it’s the cost of more than 197 M.A.C. lipsticks or 95 bottles of Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation, but if you want to have some quality pencils for drawing, painting, and sketching and want to avoid restocking for a while, the KarlBox might just be perfect for you. You can share the tools with basically everyone in your life and still have enough to sketch all the pictures you want until the end of time.
Despite not-so-great reviews of the film itself, the stars of Suicide Squad are no doubt winning the red carpet.
For the latest stop on their european promotional tour, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne and Jared Leto came out swinging in a mix of Gucci and vampy lace—the kind of strong, statement-making fashion I love to see on a press circuit. Here, are my favorite looks you might’ve missed.

Blake Lively Is Already Winning the 2016 Cannes Film Festival Carpet.
Today may only be the first official day of the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, but Blake Lively is already winning the red carpet with her fashion statements (like we’d ever expect anything less).
The 28-year-old beauty stunned at the premiere of Woody Allen’s new film, Cafe Society, turning heads in a shimmering, Versace nude cutout dress that even gave us a peek at her teeny tiny baby bump.
She wore her gorgeous blonde locks down and parted to the side in big, loose waves. She also topped off the look with several diamond rings.
Earlier in the day, the soon-to-be mama of two also made waves during the photo call for the film. She donned a fire-engine red jumpsuit, pairing it with the hottest messy ponytail we’ve ever seen.
This fabulous-looking creature is Pitzush Puss, or Puss in Glam, as she’s commonly known to her 13,500 Instagram followers. When she was a kitten, her owner found her half dead and nursed her back to health. Now, thanks to some tlc and a lot of accessories, she is a bonified cat star who spends her time being really, really, ridiculously good-looking.
